Frequently asked.

If you don't see your question, just email us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, tap SunTan, then Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of the current period.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Use Apple's Report a Problem page to request one. If you have an EU statutory right of withdrawal, you can exercise it through Apple at the point of purchase.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

In the app, open Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy SunTan Pro.

The UV index looks wrong. What can I do?

UV data comes from public weather services and can drift in some regions. Pull down on the home screen to force a refresh. If it still looks off, email us with your city and a screenshot.

Does SunTan work without location access?

Partially — you can still use timers and routines, but UV forecasts require at least approximate location. We never store your precise location on our servers.

Can I sync data with Apple Health?

Yes. Open Settings → Integrations → Apple Health and enable the categories you want to sync (UV exposure time, vitamin D estimates). You can revoke access any time in iOS Settings.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings → Privacy → Reset all data in the app. Most data lives only on your device, so deleting the app removes it. To delete data we hold (e.g. support emails), write to tomazovsenjak7@gmail.com.

Is SunTan medical advice?

No. SunTan is a wellness tool that helps you plan smarter sun exposure based on public UV data and your skin type. It is not a substitute for sunscreen or for advice from a dermatologist or physician.

Which devices do you support?

iPhone running iOS 17 or later. We're working on iPad and Apple Watch support next.
